Example: Antiarrhythmic Drug Therapy

Figure: AFR can be used to monitor effect of antiarrhythmic drug therapy. The figure shows a principal plot of typical antiarrhythmic drug responses during AF. The first example shows where SR conversion takes place at an AFR value slightly above 200 fpm. The second example shows where SR conversion does not take place and where the AFR converges back to baseline level as the effect of the drug is decaying.
